Killzone 3 for PlayStation: The Next Generation Shooting Game

Killzone 3 is a first-person shooter franchise from PlayStation, the fourth in its shooting game series. The plot of the Killzone 3 is a continuation of the Killzone 2 plot. Sony PlayStation has put a lot of effort in this game and has built an intense storyline and a highly developed graphics and gameplay. The Killzone3 is also the first shooting game from PlayStation to incorporate the PlayStation Move motion sensor technology. In fact Sony PlayStation had confessed that Killzone 3 is the game that inspired it to design the PlayStation Move Sharp Shooter.

Killzone 3 opens with two Helghast soldiers, Sev and Rico planning to assassinate another soldier, Narville. The plot is covered with flashbacks events and incidents from the Killzone 2. The plot is essentially the same as Killzone 2- Helghast forces fighting against the ISA (Interplanetary Strategic Forces) forces. The difference is the fact that the powerful and exploitative dictator of Helghast, Visari is found dead and there is a huge civil unrest in Helghast with two most powerful men in Helghast fighting for ascension to the throne of Helghast. Amidst internal political unrest the Helghast forces are sent to destroy any surviving ISA forces. Sev, Rico and Narville are the survivors of the destructive wars that they have won. Now they don’t have to fight for anyone else. Now they are fighting for their own life.

Killzone 3 is mostly about these two and their tryst with destiny as they fight the enormous Helghast army and there war machines and weapons. The player has to use his skills and stealth to help Sev and Rico survive till they are evacuated safely from Helghast. Those who are playing the Killzone 3 will need to keep their eyes and ears open when the story or the game video is playing. You could have ignored the story in the Killzone 2 but the Killzone 3 story is very intense and it is essential to watch the story carefully to know the characters and succeed in the game.
